SplitBean

A co-op puzzle game where you can't win alone.

SplitBean is a 2-player cooperative puzzle game built in Unreal Engine 5. You and a friend are split across two color-coded rooms — red and blue — and must talk, coordinate, and trust each other to solve 7 hand-crafted levels.

No portals. No weapons. Just two people who have to actually communicate.

How it works

Each level gives both players different information or abilities. One player might see something the other can't. One might be able to act where the other can't reach. Every level is designed so that neither player can solve it alone — you need each other.

Levels

• 🟦 First Steps — Learn the basics: pressure plates open the way for your partner.
• 🟥 Double Trouble — A more complex platforming challenge requiring careful timing.
• 🪟 Venetian Maze — One player guides the other through a maze using a one-way mirror view from above.
• 🔍 Hidden in Plain Sight — Find your button hidden in plain sight and press it at exactly the same moment as your partner.
• 🔢 Sequence — One player reads a randomized sequence aloud. The other has to follow it perfectly — one mistake reshuffles everything.
• 💣 Minefield — One player sees the safe path. The other has to walk it blindly, trusting every word.
• 🪞 Mirror Maze — Two mirrored mazes. Your partner's top-down view is projected live on your wall — but flipped. Navigate together.
